1. 1C-2C denies any major and shows most hands with at least invitational strength

2. 1C-2M shows exactly 3-card suit and 5+clubs (often 4D also)

3. (1x)-p-(1y)-1NT   shows a good overcall in the lowest unshown suit.
   (1x)-p-(1y)-2x    shows a good overcall in the highest unshown suit.
   (1x)-p-(1y)-2y    shows a good two-suiter in the unbid suits /at least 5-5/
   (1x)-p-(1y)-2NT   destructive two-suiter in the unbid suits /at least 5-5/
   
4. (1C/D)-2D shows at least 5-5 in majors 

5. Transfer bids from 1NT are used after 1C-(1X) and 1M-(DBL)
